The loose ties model railroad club will be having its public display at the Columbia Mall this holiday season today and tomorrow, and on December 14th & 15th. Operating times on Saturdays are 11 am -5 pm and 11 am - 4 pm on Sundays.
The Montour-DeLong Fair Association is holding an all-you-can-eat haddock fish dinner today from 3 - 7 pm. Cost is $12 for adults, $6 for kids 6-12, kids 5 and under eat free! Any active military personnel who come in uniform will recieve their dinner for free. The Fairgrounds are at 2628 Broadway road in Danville.
Town Hill United Methodist Church will celebrate Anniversary Sunday with a visit from Bishop Jeremiah J. Park tomorrow at 9am worship. There will be a covered dish brunch following the service. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The Women of the Moose Chapter 2417 at the Moose Lodge 623 is collecting food for Agape for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Drop off is at the Lodge behind Sheets in Bloomsburg. Doors open at 3pm on Monday.

Crocks are $40 each - 100% of the proceeds from the Collectors Crocks goes to the Bloomsburg Public Library.
The Kozy Kids winter wear donation drive is under way. Donations of hats, gloves and scarves will be distributed to children in our local commuinity this winter. Donation boxes can be found at AGAPE, New Covenant Christian Church, the Berwick United Way, the Hope Center, First Columbia Bank in the Buckhorn Wal-Mart, and at My Town in the Columbia Mall.
Berwick HS Football
Berwick stays unbeaten as they held back Bethlehem Catholic in Allentown in a Class AAA first round state playoff game. The final score was a 29-27 Bulldogs victory. Berwick will face Clearfield on Friday night in a 7PM playoff game. You can hear coverage on Classic Rock 103.5 starting with the Coach Curry show at 6PM.
Danville HS Football
The Ironmen of Danville came up short in their bid for their second straight District 4 championship as they fell to Troy in the Class AA final at Ironmen Stadium. The final score was Troy 35, Danville 14.
Southern Columbia HS Football
The Tigers of Southern Columbia were handed their first defeat of the season by Old Forge in a Class A first round state playoff game. That game ended in a final of Old Forge 19, Southern Columbia 14.
The Bloomsburg University wrestling team beat Arizona State Friday night at Nelson Field House, 18-15.
Saturday afternoon, the BU Huskies played on the road at Lock Haven. The Women's team won their game 66-62. The Men won their match 62-57. You can hear the details from the afternoon's games with Jim Doyle in the WHLM Husky Post-Game Report:
BU Football Playoffs
The Huskies will face West Chester when they enter the NCAA playoffs next week, after the Golden Rams defeated American International in the first round of post-season play Saturday afternoon 38-7.
