HS Football
Central Columbia and Lewisburg... contenders for both conference and District championships... both brought 6-1 records into our high school game of the week Friday night at Central. The game was delayed in the third quarter due to lighting across much of the area. The game eventually resumed and fiished in a 16-15 Central victory.
Berwick Bulldogs
The Bulldogs of Berwick extended their winning streak to five Friday night with a 23-20 win over Pittston.
Important Games
In other games tonight, Bloomsburg beat Mifflinburg 39-22, Danville's shut out Shikellamy 24-0, and Southern Columbia held off Shamokin at home 45-6.
BU Football
In college football Saturday, Bloomsburg University stayed unbeaten with a surprisingly hard-fought 27-13 win at Cheyney's Homecoming. You can hear the detail's from the game with Jim Doyle in the WHLM Husky Post Game Report:
